Central Illinois Ag is joining the fight against breast cancer. We have added three Takeuchi machines to our construction equipment rental fleet, adorned with pink decals and light pink boom arms. Over the next four years, 10% of rental revenue garnered from these machines will be donated to the      Susan G. Komen Foundation of McLean County, IL.

“It has been a priority of ours to find ways to better partner with the community, raising awareness for special causes. This cause is particularly special, since breast cancer has affected a number of our friends and colleagues,” owner Michael Schmidt states.

Using Takeuchi construction equipment for the cause was particularly fitting. “Our Takeuchi Regional Manager Dale Keller is a close friend, and his wife Tammi recently celebrated her 10^th year cancer-free, after battling and beating Stage 3 Breast Cancer,” says Store Manager Matt Worthington.

Owner Steve Schmidt has envisioned a scenario where not only their cause is aided, but other companies follow suit for causes in their respective areas. “If the program is succesful, there are plans to add as many pink machines to our fleet as the region's industry can support.”
