Scott Pearl is the latest hire at CIA's
Farmer City location. Scott will fill an Ag
Sales role, covering a territory primarily
South and East of the FC store. Scott lives
in Monticello and has deep roots in the
area. We welcome Scott's friendly and
enthusiastic attitude, and look forward to
him being part of the Farmer City family.
» CIA's Dig for the Cure has expanded
coverage area.

For the past year CIA's "Dig for the Cure"
rental program has helped provide breast
cancer support to McLean County residents.
Starting March 31st, 2011 the program will
be helping a broader base in the fight
against breast cancer. The McLean County
affiliate has merged into a 32-county
affiliate, "The Memorial Affiliate of Susan
G. Komen for the Cure." This will be Komen's
flagship affiliate. CIA will now be working
with the larger affiliate in the same

» CIA Parts Department has a new
addition in Farmer
City.

In a move to keep up with the growth of both
the store and customers in the area, Farmer
City has added experienced parts counter
help with the hiring of Pat Pearl. Pat lives
locally in Farmer City, spending most of his
time with his three children. He has
an an extensive parts knowledge base and is
eager to meet and serve the local CaseIH
customer base.

50 customers loaded up on a charter bus
after being invited by CIA for a day trip to
the Case IH planter facility in Burr Ridge,
IL. The group learned some CaseIH history on
a tour of the plant, and got a look at
tractor testing labs in action. The main
focus was current and future planter models,
along with breaking down into focus groups
to give feedback on Precision Monitor
software coming out in Spring 2011. A
virtual walk-around of the CaseIH 2012
planter was another highlight of the trip.

CIA is pleased to announce the hiring of
Gordon Watkins. Gordon lives outside of
Petersburg, IL, and was raised on a family
farm in Cass County. Having worked in the
fertilizer business and with another
equipment dealer, Gordon brings with him
valuable industry experience. In his spare
time, Gordon enjoys restoring antique
tractors and spending time with his wife and
four kids. Welcome Gordon!

mix in Farmer City.

To bolster Precision Farming Producr Support
and grow equipment sales, the Farmer City
store has hired Paul Schmid. Paul grew up
working on his family farm in Cissna Park,
IL, eventually managing all Precision
Systems for the operation. Working in both
ag and construction applications, Paul has
proven to be adept at troubleshooting and
providing solutions for a variety of
different GPS and Ag Tech equipment systems.

against breast cancer.

We have added three new Takeuchi machines to
our construction equipment rental fleet
adorned with light pink booms and breast
cancer awareness decals. Over the next four
years, 10% of revenue earned from these
machines will be donated to the Susan G.
Komen Foundation of McLean County. Call in
to schedule a rental or make a donation to
support the fight against breast cancer.

The inaugural season of the Normal
CornBelters baseball team will kick off in
May of 2010, with Central Illinois Ag as an
official sponsor. The CornBelters will play
in professional baseball's Frontier League.
Their games will be hosted in a $12 million
multi-purpose stadium named The Corn Crib.
Along with being a
sponsor, Central Illinois Ag will provide the team with
equipment to maintain the grounds.

There is a new face at Central Illinois
Ag you will see in the store and out in the
field. Gannon Enck has started as a Product
Support Rep for our Construction division;
primarily focusing on Takeuchi owners.
Gannon brings to us years of experience in
the equipment industry, most recently at a
Takeuchi dealership in Tennessee. We are proud to have
Gannon on our team.
» Case IH rolls out new products for 2010 at
Farm Progress Show.

At this year's Farm Progress Show, there was
plenty of new products to see. Case IH
introduced some new machines for 2010 that
generated some buzz. The new Farmall A
Series utility tractors, and Puma and Magnum
tractors with Continuously Variable
Transmission (CVT) showed a glimpse of 2010
developments. Also introduced was the Case
IH Scout utility vehicle (see more info
here).

Randy Baker, President and CEO of Case IH,
made an extended visit to Central Illinois
Ag during the week. One morning was spent
with customers of Central Illinois Ag, as
Baker addressed the crowd about the history
and future of Case IH products. Product
Specialists then followed-up with detailed
information on Axial Flow Combines and
Precision Farming Products. The following
morning, Mr. Baker spent time one-on-one
with local customers over breakfast to get
more ideas and feedback. The visit was a
true honor for Central Illinois Ag, and a
testament to the leadership of Case IH.
